INFORMATION FOR PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS


WHO:

Mothers (Patronesses) and Daughters (Ticktockers) residing in the Highland Park Independent School District.

WHAT:

Patronesses and Ticktockers volunteer at more than a dozen philanthropies throughout Dallas County.   Every Patroness and Ticktocker must serve on an NCL committee, volunteer a minimum of 15 Philanthropy Hours and earn at least 10 League Hours per year.

WHEN:

Patroness Meetings are usually held once a month on Friday mornings from 8:15 to 9:15.  Ticktocker Meetings are usually held once a month on Sunday afternoons from 4:00 to 5:00.

WHERE:

Patroness Meetings are usually held at University Park United Methodist Church.  Ticktocker Meetings are usually held in homes of Ticktockers.

WHY:

 An opportunity for mothers and daughters to serve together in the community, to develop leadership skills and to share cultural experiences.

HOW:

We conduct an annual membership drive that begins in the Fall for mothers with 6th graders.  Prospective Members must be sponsored by an NCL Park Cities Chapter Member who is Active and in Good Standing.  Due to a limited number of spots available, Membership is confirmed by Blind Draw.
